A remote or hybrid meeting

Remote coffee and hybrid game nights need a clock time just as much as a restaurant table.

A remote meeting feels light, so it never goes into the calendar. Then half the group is at the shop, and the link opens into an empty room.

Agree on the clock time the same way as an in-person meeting. Offer two options on different days, because a remote guest’s time zone or daycare may decide.

Add the join link to the event notes only after the time is locked. The wrong link at the wrong time starts a new thread.

In a hybrid, say who is on site and who is on the line. Then the host can aim the camera and order the right amount of pizza.

A calendar booking matters as much for a remote meeting as for a restaurant. Without it, “an evening on Zoom” is only an intention.
