A calendar booking ends the planning
An ICS invite puts the confirmed time on the phone and the work laptop, so nobody has to remind the group separately.
An event is not agreed if it only lives in chat. The calendar is the place people actually protect their evening against.
After confirmation, Sopisiko sends a calendar file. It works with Google, Apple and Outlook without everyone using the same service.
Fill in the place and address before you lock the time. An empty calendar event is created, but the route and the departure time fall back to messages again.
If the time is cancelled, the old booking has to be cancelled in the calendar too. Sopisiko sends a cancellation so ghost evenings do not stay in calendars.
When the calendar is up to date, the group chat can return to the real topic: what to bring, who picks up whom, and what you will play.
