Agreeing on a game night
Board games, characters and setup need people to arrive at the same time — not “when you can”.
A game night starts late if the arrival time is vague. Then setup eats the playing time, and one game is left unfinished.
Offer two weekday evenings. Mark whether food comes first or the game starts immediately, and how long the evening lasts. People can judge childcare and the commute.
When the time is locked, share the game list. Do not vote on the game in the same thread as the time: people first, then the game.
The address, door code and floor belong in the event notes. A calendar booking keeps late arrivals in check.
In Sopisiko the answers are on one page, so the host knows whether there are enough players for a four-player game or whether to split into two tables.
