Agreeing on a floorball slot
How a hobby group gets enough players for the hall without a weekly flood of messages.
A floorball slot fails for two reasons: the hall is already booked for the wrong hour, or only three players show up. Both come from asking too late or in too many channels.
Offer 2–4 possible slots in the same week. Say clearly whether it is practice or a game, and when answers are due. Then the captain can cancel or confirm the hall in time.
Invite the regulars on the same list. When someone cannot come, you see it before the slot is paid. You do not need a second invite if the people who have not answered are visible at once.
Lock the slot and put the place plus the court number on the event. A calendar booking cuts the “which hall was it?” messages five minutes before start.
Sopisiko fits this because the event does not hang around forever. After the game it is removed, and an old poll does not mix with next week.
